and as things stand atm, supported the plan for the forcible removal of Palestinians from Gaza.

The Palestinians voted for Hamas, and have shown no signs of ending their support for them. Hamas are vile and have no respect for human life, especially Jewish life. Why would Israel want them to continue to live in Gaza? Other Arab countries do not want Palestinians - that is the main problem, and I cannot see how Trump's plan can work.

I feel there are possibly a large number of Palestinians, after what has happened, who are not happy with Hamas, but who could come out and say so?

There are great dangers in conflating being Palestinian with being Hamas, as you appear to be

Therefore all Palestinians are vile?

Trump has strengthened Netanyahu's hand, I'll be very surprised if the hostages get released and the ceasefire holds for much longer (but I live in hope!) Trump's position will be taken by the far right in Israel (Smotrich, Ben Givr et al) as a signal of support and it's bringing the Arab countries closer. This is a recipe for a longer war not a long term peace.

Not sure what facial expression is appropriate for such a crazy and unworkable plan....

Yes, this is my concern, it will crash the peace, and it may be the intention. Threatening a whole population with ethnic cleansing isn't a great way forward in international relationships.

Now , I keep getting a sense of Deja Vieu. Wasnt there someone else who years ago, decided to take over someone elses country for his own gains.?? Come to think of it , he also spouted evil rubbish against people for their race, religion, or managed to use various lies and invented reasons, to let him carry on with his evil ways.

It beggars belief that they talk of what to do with Gaza but not why and how it got flattened. The US gave money to bomb it, with the help of other countries, including us.

I very much doubt that any Arab country will suddenly be willing to house refugees from Gaza, even if these people should want suddenly to have to move to Egypt, Jordan or anywhere else.

So, I think this is just one more of Trump's ideas that have no real basis for being adopted.
