The other filled up very swiftly - so I assume a need for it’s continuation.

Someone needs to stop him.

He gone after Greenland, Canada, Gaza and Panama and now “giving” Ukraine to Russia.

POTUS Trump cannot give Ukraine to Putin.

He can stop funding and providing weaponry, in which case all European countries must fill the gap.

This is a compilation video of how farmers who voted for Trump feel.

They are starting to wake up and realize what they have done. To little to late for those who tried to warn them, but I am glad to see it happening. We need Trump voters to defect in order to beat Trump.

That is a very positive development, imaround.

@imaround, it really is an attack on all sides. I fear that Americans are returning to darker days when childhood diseases meant high infant mortality rates, and of course higher mortality rates for the elderly and vulnerable.
Women and minorities on low incomes will also find it hard to find employment thanks to Trump's predisposition to remove them from the workplace.
My GS was too young to have the measles jab, under one, he ended up in hospital and we feared for his life.
What is happening is brutal and oppressive. Welcome to the facist dictatorship of the US. But seriously Musk has talked at length before about dismantling democracies, and his father and grandfather were against the idea of democracy.
Perhaps Trump's cheerleaders could come on here and tell us what is beneficial about the latest developments.
I look forward to their posts.

The Senate just voted to confirm vaccine conspiracy theorist RFK Jr. to be Health and Human Services Secretary,

Good god!

Thinking of you and yours imaround. We have relatives in NYC. They are stunned and furious.

We are blessed to be able to hold out for a while and for now my husbands job is not at risk as he is employed private sector. I have seen this coming and have supplies to keep us going if things go south. The people who are being hardest hit right now are the rural Trump voters who are losing farms, hospitals and jobs right now due to Trumps illegal dismantling of the federal government.

In another blow to women and minorities, Missouri has sued Starbucks because it's workforce has too many women and minorities.

It has been less than a month since he took apart the EEOC, the 1960s law that protected the rights of women and minorities in the workforce.Already they are targeting women and minorities in the work force.

Do you mind me asking in which state you live ?

Colorado ❤️

The idea to fire people because there are women or people of colour in Starbucks says it all - it may seem small thing but deeply shocking.

Relieved for you. Actually you need a blue heart there.

It isn’t small, it is major.

I know that the Democrats have no appealing candidates but right now I think an occasional table would be a better president.

Thought this might raise a few eyebrows.

Approximately 200,000 probationary employees were fired from their jobs today. Probationary just means they were new employees of 1 or 2 years or less, depending on the agency.

I am unsure if they can file for unemployment. They may be suddenly jobless without any safety net. They will lose their health benefits as well.

I figured he was going to find a way to the UK at some point. He won't be happy until the entire world is destroyed.

Next thing will be a revival of the slave trade- and I’m not joking! It wouldn’t be called that,of course. It will be ‘people working for in kind payment’i.e. their food and drink.

Doesn't the USA have Sales Tax, operated at Sate levels, an equivalent to VAT? (might be misinterpreting what I've read)

They already use prisoners for labor. Alabama got in trouble for denying prisoners parole, despite these prisoners being allowed in society alone during the day. Alabama has made millions on the program.

Also in Alabama, last time mass deportation happened, they put prisoners in the fields. Crops were finally lost when the prisoners refused to work.

Wyllow we have sales taxes at the State, County and City level. Where I live, when I purchase goods I pay a 6.2% sales tax. The next city over I would pay 8.5%.

We also pay taxes on our homes. Colorado is one of the lowest in the country for home taxes, but that has jumped the last 2 years.

We also pay state income taxes. 4.4% if I remember correctly.

To the feds we pay federal income taxes. That varies and people need a degree to understand that, but I think the rates run from 10% to 28%.

In my house, we also pay $1000 a month for our portion of employer sponsered Healthcare.

Trump has mentioned getting rid of income tax and adding a VAT. I don't think that will be popular but who knows what they think anymore.

I can see many of the most able women, those who are very employable world wide and have enough to uproot themselves and make a home elsewhere, leaving the US for jobs and a safer life in other countries.

The new board members at The Kennedy Center. They voted for DJT to be the President or whatever the position is.

None of these people are qualified. This is not a merit hire.

Another anti-woman by product of Trumps illegal funding freeze. No funding for domestic violence shelters.

Yes it varies from state to state and five states have zero sales tax, I know Oregon is one.
