I heard the piece on Woman’ s Hour and thought that how these issues were presented were frightening but also enlightening . If you are involved at all with young boys/ men in any capacity then these are serious issues 2HG h need to be addressed in a calm, mature fashion. I am very pleased not to have to teach anymore though.

I know they have been charged with offences in Romania, and are wanted in the U.K. for several other offences, but have they been found guilty in a court of law yet?

For young men and adolescents to be interested in these brothers and in some instances look up to them, perhaps it’s time that as a society we educate and care for our boy children differently?

They are criminals. Their specialty is trafficking women, the younger the better. Sexually abusing young girls is also something they indulge in. They've also or have plans to start a political party, the Bruv party. Think unfunny version of the Monster Raving Loony Party.

The Safe Phones Bill was in uk parliament today, adjourned to be discussed on 11th July. About reducing access to smart phones for school children . Hopefully a small step towards reducing the impact of the Tate brothers and their ilk on young impressionable minds.

To Foxie48 - the Tate brothers are narcissistic and they are also fascists - just like Trump & Farage. I wish they could get on board one of Musk's rockets & clear off to Mars with Musk on board. Quite, tho luckily (and for a change) Ron de Santis’s Florida is rejecting them and has a lawsuit pending against them. I don’t like De Santis, but in this case he has SOMETHING right

My eleven year old GS has heard of the Tate brothers and is aware of their message, as it is discussed amongst his peers.
This child has very carefully monitored access to the Internet, overseen by his vigilant parents but the Tate manifesto spreads everywhere.

Misogyny gives caring and decent men a bad name. Who should stand up to this? Decent and caring men come on and be better role models on and off-line.

I don't think the media helps either...especially in the world of sport.

I agree Indigo8, the Women’s Hour piece was good in having teachers talking about the need for misogyny to be addressed routinely. He believed pupils were more likely behave genuinely with teachers than with outside speakers whose specific role was eg to stress how bad the Tate’s are.

I think it is unwise to underestimate the influence the Tates are having especially as they seem to be well in with Trump.

There was an interesting discussion on this morning’s Woman’s Hour about the influence of Andrew Tate, and associated social media algorithms, on the development of young boys growing up (and the consequent effect on young girls). Reference was made to the fact that the recently-convicted Kyle Clifford watched Andrew Tate videos before he committed rape and murder.

I think it's important to consider why men like Trump and Farage approve of these men. How does it relate to their political beliefs and ambitions. Most decent people see them for what they are and find them despicable but Trump and Farage don't. Those who support Trump and Farage might like to answer but my only thought is that they must represent them in some way.

I don’t really care that folk like Trump and Farage think the vile brothers are great, but I do care about the message this sends to our own youth, and the youth in other countries.

Impressionable youths, male and female, who might think this is the right way to treat and be treated.

The fact that they are so revolting is ostensibly avery good reason, for women like us not wanting to watch any of their output.

But women like us must watch this stuff so that we know who the enemy is and what he is saying. I am among those whose gorge rises at the thought of looking at it. But I will, in the next twodays, and that is a promise.
