“British Steel has scaled back its presence in the North East following threats from Reform UK's Richard Tice's company to raise the rent at their site.
Recently, the Boston and Skegness MP has been a vocal proponent of government intervention for British Steel, advocating for the nationalisation of the struggling Scunthorpe plant. During the Commons' emergency Saturday debate on a rescue strategy for the facility, he sported a "Save our Steel" badge and challenged ministers to "show your cojones" by bringing the company under public ownership.”
Typical. Reform jumping on any bandwagon that gets them in the news. Even if it’s about something they’ve shown no interest in in the past.

Don’t trust the Chinese
Exactly Trump’s thoughts.

^Don’t trust the Chinese^
Exactly Trump’s thoughts.

Trump believes that Putin is to be trusted. Excuse the language, but he doesn’t know his arse from his elbow, does he?

My worry about Scunthorpe is where the coke is going to come from to keep the furnaces going in the short term.

I had no idea about Tice's own economic interests and now what he's done.

Hypocrisy and opportunism from a party that dont believe in nationalisation.

Blinko

But hey ho, let's develop a theme park in Bedford - not too far from the leafy South East, eh?

I suppose people can do Chessington and Legoland at the same time hmm sad

Yes, it will create jobs, but it's all so frivolous for want of a better word.

I exclude Legoland from that description - it helps children to develop skills!
