Two successful large western powers, both solidly rejected Trump to the extent that both Trump supporting leaders lost their seat.

What on earth is wrong with the voter in the. U.K.?

Are they as daft as the MAGA lot?

What is it about the fact that these desperate people are trafficked by unscrupulous gangs for money which keeps them and/or their families in debt to the for many years in order to have a space on a small boat that you cannot admit to?

Desperate people arriving by boat = asylum seekers

Um, it's obviously a generic and unkind term to describe other human beings who none of us have met.

No it’s a factual description of how they enter the U.K. in order to claim asylum.

Boat:
a vehicle for traveling on water, esp. one that is not very large.
