They deliberately broadcasted it knowing it was outrageous and exaggerated.
In the same way, they show allegedly hungry women and children waving pots, then healthy and obviously well fed men.

I'm not sure, even if they had the means, how UN peacekeeping troops could be involved without becoming targets for both Israel and Hamas?

I hope this is the beginning of the end and that UN peacekeepers, aid workers could take over to maintain peace. Would Israel dare to target UN border patrols?

No but hamas would.

Israel drove straight through the UN peacekeepers in Lebanon who were suppose to be controlling Hezbolah. A complete waste of time and money.

In Gaza it’s going to be as in West Bank a Gazan police force, supervised by Israel

It would be interesting to find out which news source is acceptable to those who don't trust the BBC.

It seems you can't recognise that folk no longer unquestioningly buy into the 'Gaza bad' view. There is such a slide away from support for Netanyahu. Criticism is growing all around the world.

I would like to see all the other evidence that the BBC are biased. Out of the very many reports it seems that just one was incorrect.
I believe the BBC acted in good faith and got it wrong on this occasion.

No one specific: meaning that because site X is quoted, its therefore automatically not good enough to be even read at all.

Inept until corrected - and made very clear with apologies. Is there any news site that gets its right 100% of the time?

I'll always read another site/article if recommended here, if people feel a POV isn't represented - and I mean that genuinely.

It's not good enough however to say "oh that's the BBC" "oh its the UN" in order to "prove" its not valid. Be specific. Say why.

Oreo as AGAA4 says reporting is not about criticism it's about accuracy eg I picked you up on your comment about the "gold toilet heist" because of your inaccuracy ie what you said was untrue. If you see the BBC reporting something that is inaccurate or untrue, why not post it? For those who say ‘oh it fits your bias’ and so on, well yes and it fits yours too!
I try not to be biased but with the BBC reporting it’s hard not to see it.From no criticism of hamas to showing pro Gazan so called documentaries it’s been clear for ages where their views lie.I suspect that very left wing Corbyn type views predominate there.

Yes, that's what it boils down to when all the whataboutery fades, and it takes checking alternative sources to come back to this conclusion.

The bbc is a public service it can’t show bias and to my mind, it doesn’t. If they make a mistake they acknowledge it.
For many years the bbc has been criticised by both right and left wing as biased against one sude or the other. Hence, to my mind, they are doing as good and honest a job as is possible.

Ok lets go across the pond to see how the reporting goes -

The BBC is not biased.

FGS it's not the role of the BBC to "proscribe" a group as terrorists, it's done by the Home office and is a legal term often linked to the 2000 Terrorism Act. The role of the BBC is to report the news accurately, which IMO it does and if it makes a mistake it publishes a correction and an apology. I have yet to hear the BBC say anything "biased" about the war in Gaza, it reports what is happening to the best of it's ability and does it's best to verify it's accuracy, not always possible if Israel won't allow independent reporters into Gaza. What is reported by the BBC is usually also reported in the Jewish media.
