And of course, some sources are direct- the direct words from people who say things I don't want to hear, because it is abominable, and beyond humanity. It does not matter that Owen Jones shared it on Facebook- the words are not altered. Those of a Jew who says every single child and baby of Palestine have to be killed- as they drink terrorism from their mother's milk and are future rapists of your own child. Every single one of them. It is chilling, terrifying, and as Jones say - there is no difference with the rethoric of 1940s Germany. None. It makes very very hard listening- but no-one should close their ears.

No, it could lead to a blinkered outlook on many situations.

I do not have trust in the BBC , at one time would switch on the BBC news before any.other source of news, their coverage
of Gaza has not been trustworthy

It does need wide reading, yes. Over time one trusts some sources when they do really try hard to give different POV as opposed to those giving only one POV.

Last time I travelled quite a long way in a storm to be at a peaceful and silent vigil for Gaza. Very moving, very dignified, and we all felt so so helpless in the face of all the violence. So fearful too for our Jewish friends- they know that the more violence, the more deaths, the more suffering - will probably mean the more pain for them in the future- as there is no longer a solution ofr neither side.
