Ch4 imo provides the most detailed reports. I like bbc radio 4 and 5 news but since bbc tv news went 24/7 I don’t find it provides enough detail or analysis

I’m still largely avoiding the news but, in general Ch4 is my go to news programme for when I want to know what’s actually happening.

'No other land' can we see it on catch up? I remember when it won a prize, and yes when the film maker was attacked. So evil.

So, we are advised to not believe Ch4. Any suggstions on reliable sources? What about Trump's propaganda just now, his pathetic agressive attempts to shut down any and all reports that the bombing has not been a success? Is that who you believe?

I have not dismissed the channel 4 report but am trying to get to grips with this… it’s not making much sense on first viewing.

Yes Allira unfortunately it has been going on for years. On occupied West Bank Palestinian land thousands have been killed but hardly reported and the other filmed was in Israel and were Israeli Bedouins.
It’s worth watching Basel Ardra whose film No other Land about settler violence in the West Bank won best foreign film recently and when he returned from the award ceremony in the USA the production team were badly beaten up by Israeli police. He produced this film with a brave Israeli journalist friend.

There’s a lot of background information on Bedouins to absorb before taking anything a news channel broadcasts as reliable information. Don’t accept any news outlet at face value.

I’m watching ch4 news, coveting the demolition of Bedouin homes , way away from the West Bank. One man, recently returned from fighting for Israel fiund his home demolished. The Bedouin are being driven into the camps. The Arabs are being replaced by Settlers. Some from USA, Russia .
Some Settlers don’t hesitate to use violence. The IDF don’t react to defend villagers left with nothing.
Ch4 reporters briefly arrested for filming.

It’s simply awful

I just watched that Iam64. I was hoping that there might be some GNs watching too. It was violent and threatening. That man’s poor brother was badly injured and all those people left with no homes or possessions. All destroyed in front of them. Just another day for IDF who watch and do nothing to stop the violence. . They threatened the ch 4 journalists with guns, so they stopped filming and left.
