One poor little child obviously very ill, as was the photograph of the child who the NYT said had a serious physical illness not starvation.

The journalists were killed outside of the hospital that is caring for severely malnourished children.

The Israeli are desperate to keep this information from getting to the world, and put out lies like “the children are ill” or “ no one is hungry in Gaza because we have shipped shedloads of food in” or the journalists were Hamas.

But they have also said.

“We will stop all food, water and fuel from entering Gaza”

“We will clear Gaza of all Palestinians - and use whatever it takes to do so”

“We will facilitate foreign journalists to report from Gaza” well good luck with that one anyone who wants to report the truth!!

I wonder if Israel thinks that if it kills enough journalists it can kill the truth.

Oh I have absolutely no truck whatsoever with Hamas. But they are a tin pot terrorist unit that Israel has vast and excellent experience in fighting these sorts of groups.

They dealt with absolute precision with Hezbollah, a much bigger and more professional group tha Hamas has ever been. And have carried out similar exercise over many years, with other groups, Israel has never had a problem dealing with these, but strangely they seem to be utterly useless in dealing with Hamas. They have only ever publish one set of figures of dead Hamas, have never said how many they think there are left and don’t appear to have any success at all in the past few months. Frankly from such a professional army - I don’t believe it.

So the hostages languish in Hamas gaols whilst Israel fiddles around clearing the. North of Gaza for settlers to move in and as far as I am aware haven’t found a single hostage in months.

What on earth has happened to such professional army?

Not to mention the unarmed hostages the IDF shit.

There was a report on Sky about how many Israeli soldiers are committing suicide because of what they've seen in Gaza.

What kind of support do Hamas have??
I don’t see it.
There are no surrounding Arab countries supporting them, they have no wish to do so, Iran has its own domestic troubles, it is teetering on economic collapse and fears another uprising of angry and dissatisfied Iranians, so any support from there will be unreliable.
So where is the support?
If you just mean the pro peace demonstrators etc., that doesn’t give them weapons or food.
They are increasingly becoming a spent force whereas Israel continues to be supported by super power the US.
Perhaps you could elaborate about ‘support’.

I must also add that the pro peace demonstrators don’t support Hamas, even if it was in their power to do so, those present at such demos with pro Hamas banners are quickly dealt with by the police.

Hamas has no support and certainly none on these threads.

Where do you get that from?
Qatar was a neutral mediator in talks between Israel and Hamas before the wheels came off the bus, I doubt Israel would want a pro Hamas country to act as a mediator. As for Turkey they have not made any moves to support Hamas and as a member of NATO are highly unlikely to.
As for Iran, as I said this is a country crippled by economic sanctions which cannot afford to support this conflict in a reliable manner.

Hamas was armed by Iran, much of the aid given to Gaza during the period before the October attack was used to construct and smuggle weapons.
Hamas don’t care how many die, they are fanatics every death is martyrdom, western liberalism is very weak against that doctrine, as we found out in Iraq and Afghanistan, to win you have to fight on their level

Are you really saying that there are very rare cases of
starvation in Gaza, that all the photographs of people with gaunt faces and sunken eyes are somehow misrepresenting what is happening there?

The recognition of Palestine as a state is, in my opinion, a desperate ploy for countries to try and distance themselves from the fact that they have stood by and watched thousands and thousands of men, women and children being bombed, used for target practice and starved out of their homes.
