Well, he fired the long time federal employee in charge of the jobs report after the worst report in 10 years. He accused her of falsifying numbers for political means.

No one is stopping him. He is a literal tyrant.

Yes, the Epstein business is the Albatross around Trumps neck and we now know he resorts to near-hysterical denial tactics as a distraction technique but "playing" with the nuclear option is much too far.

Is there absolutely no-one in American politics who can put a brake on him? Why does the US political system allow one man to act like some Supreme Dictator? Is there ANY political opposition in the American system, or is everyone terrified that this ogre can have them removed on a whim just for speaking up?

I have no comment other than to despair at the leaders of our countries right now.

As all US submarines are nuclear powered it's likely he means nuclear armed, though it's anyone's guess really but l don't think his intention is bluff.

Yes, I see this as more of the increasingly desperate attempts at deflection by Mr Trump.

I agree WWM but in addition, I think it's also because Putin has made a fool of him. There are many who knew that Putin's been playing games with Trump except Trump of course.
