Unfolding Genocide

BBC report

“Israel has faced mounting criticism over the 22-month-long war with Hamas, with UN-backed experts warning of widespread famine unfolding in the besieged territory.

On Tuesday members of an international group of former leaders known as "The Elders" for the first time called the war in Gaza an "unfolding genocide" and blamed Israel for causing famine among its population.

Following a visit to the Gaza border, Helen Clark and Mary Robinson, a former prime minister of New Zealand and a former president of Ireland, said in a joint statement: "What we saw and heard underlines our personal conviction that there is not only an unfolding, human-caused famine in Gaza. There is an unfolding genocide."

The plan won’t be made public!

They are a money grubbing lot who had this planned way before Oct. 7th.

In fact it was thought about during Trumps previous stint as President.

Kushner, his son- in-law let it be known at the time that he was interested (with Trump’s blessing) that he was interested in purchase real estate in Gaza and developing it. This has been planned for years, and now coming to fruition.

Kushner definitely worked in cahoots with Netanyahu. I can remember it.

There is a 'comprehensive plan' being made for Gaza when the war ends in about 4 months according to the US.
I'm guessing that it will be to the benefit of Israel and Trump.
Trump said in February that he wanted all Palestinians to leave Gaza and live elsewhere.

Of course there is a plan, and I don’t know about benefits for Trump but certainly for Israel.Gazans have lost the right to live and govern themselves there, they have shown what they will do when given that.I think Gaza will be reduced in size for a start.

Maremia Thu 28-Aug-25 16:33:04

What a statement. Gazans have lost the right????!!!!

Oreo Thu 28-Aug-25 16:45:17

Yes I think they have.

Smileless2012 Thu 28-Aug-25 16:46:39

lost the right says who Oreo you? Israel? Trump? no one has the right to say who has the right to live and govern themselves, no one.

AGAA4 Thu 28-Aug-25 16:48:10

Gazans have lost the right to live in their own land! Unbelievable!

Babs03 Thu 28-Aug-25 16:50:28

Gazans have lost the right to live or govern themselves in Gaza??
Good Lord? Have you been reading Bibi’s diary?
Just read that back for a second and see how awful that sounds.
Innocent Gazans haven’t lost the right to anything, they haven’t done anything wrong. Perhaps your whole problem is you see all Palestinians as ‘the enemy’.

Babs03 Thu 28-Aug-25 16:53:17

I think we now have an insight into the minds of those who support Netanyahu.

I think we now have an insight into the minds of those who support Netanyahu.

And to those who will never support Israel under any circumstances.

Smileless2012 Thu 28-Aug-25 16:58:26

Well I can't comment on that oreo because I haven't seen anyone here say they'll never support Israel under any circumstances.

I think you're right Babs and it's not very pleasant.

^lost the right^ says who Oreo you? Israel? Trump? no one has the right to say who has the right to live and govern themselves, no one.

They can live in Gaza but not live and govern themselves before anyone has hysterics.
They chose hamas to govern them and therefore there’s no way anything like that can be allowed to happen again.

Oreo Thu 28-Aug-25 17:00:45

Keep your comments objective as I will report any personal attacks.
You must be prepared to hear the other side of the story.

Babs03 Thu 28-Aug-25 17:03:27

@Oreo Netanyahu also chose Hamas to govern over Gaza, when he was prime minister back then, even insisting the Knesset fund them, was part of his master plan to divide Palestinians in Gaza from those on the West Bank.
So should he also be punished for this alongside the poor Gazans.

Anniebach Thu 28-Aug-25 17:05:34

Hamas has won the propaganda battle, they could be voted into government again,
think of the vasts crowds mocking the released hostages, dead and alive

AGAA4 Thu 28-Aug-25 17:05:51

They didn't all vote for Hamas Oreo so don't blame the victims.

Babs03 Thu 28-Aug-25 17:06:47

‘They can live in Gaza but not live and govern themselves before anyone has hysterics.’

Personally I don’t think you will be asked to be part of such a plan, and nobody is having hysterics.

Oreo Thu 28-Aug-25 17:09:40

That’s childish Babs03
Of course I’m not involved in any plan but I can see clearly what has to happen.

For your perusal Oreo and anyone else who sees fit to blame innocent Gazans for voting for Hamas.

Smileless2012 Thu 28-Aug-25 17:15:22

It was you who said they don't have the right to live and govern themselves in Gaza oreo.

Babs03 Thu 28-Aug-25 17:16:44

Oreo

Calling posters childish or hysterical isn’t a great way to support your argument.

I really really don’t think it’s me that’s victim blaming.
I have constantly read on these threads that BN is responsible for hamas ( he thought them better than the PA) and he had no notion that they wouldn’t be satisfied with running Gaza.
Who in their right mind would have imagined the horror of October 7th? Then the Israeli government were victim blamed on here for it happening, a couple of posters even going so far as to say it was ‘allowed’ to happen and enjoying their stupid conspiracy theories.
That’s blaming the victims.

Hamas won the election in 2006, Netanyahu was not prime minister he was defeated 1999, returned to office in a coalition
2009

AGAA4 Thu 28-Aug-25 17:21:33

You are victim blaming Oreo. Do you take responsibility for everything a government you voted for does? Or suffer dire consequences from a government you didn't vote for

Oreo Thu 28-Aug-25 17:22:32

Babs03 as you obvs have a lot of free time to be on this thread and I don’t, I will just leave you to consider this… Israel have to protect themselves and be in no doubt that they will.
What hamas did and continue to do by snipers and no release for the starving hostages guarantees that nothing can be the same again for Gazans.

Maremia Thu 28-Aug-25 17:24:20

Is calling posters 'childish' or 'hysterical' making a personal comment Oreo?
