Babs03 as you obvs have a lot of free time to be on this thread and I don’t, I will just leave you to consider this… Israel have to protect themselves and be in no doubt that they will.
What hamas did and continue to do by snipers and no release for the starving hostages guarantees that nothing can be the same again for Gazans.

I do have some free time Oreo in between caring full time for my DH. When he was critically ill I wasn’t on any thread for 4/5 months.
Perhaps I am just making up for lost time.

Interestingly I have been reading a paper by a Jewish academic, that says that using the accusation of anti-semitism when there clearly is none, much like we see frequently on these threads is itself anti-Semitic. Actually obvious if you think about it.

@AGAA4 I think hitting hospitals has been the IDFs MO since the start of their campaign, so many patients, medics, and people sheltering from the bombing have been slaughtered. Netanyahu would have us believe that Hamas were in the hospitals or beneath them in tunnels which really doesn’t explain why they didn’t use different tactics to reach the enemy rather than risking so many civilian lives in a building that should be protected according to international law.
We are talking about a high tech armed force here able to track and kill their enemies from some distance.
Failing that negotiations would have ruled out more of such bombings.
Am pretty sure that if terrorists were holed up in a hospital in Tel Aviv they wouldn’t just bomb it but find a way to remove the terrorists.

Initial reports from Gaza said that Israel had struck the hospital twice, with the first blast followed nine minutes later by another which hit first responders and journalists who arrived at the scene.
But new analysis suggests the hospital was struck four times in total. BBC Verify and expert analysis found that two staircases were hit almost simultaneously in the first wave, and while what was thought to be a single later attack was in fact two separate strikes hitting the same place within a fraction of a second.

No apologies from me to anyone, it’s simply the truth, I have to work ( shift worker ) and also do small childcare duties as well as everything else so don’t have much time as those retired who spend a lot of time on this site.It’s up to them how they spend their time but they do have more of it if retired.
So no cheap dig just the truth.
I don’t do ‘racist tropes’ either and my comparison of a woman alone in Isreal and walking around in Gaza stands.Since hamas took over there it’s much much worse than it used to be.Women have to be heavily covered up and if outside safer to be accompanied by a man.A European woman on her own wearing Western clothing wandering around wouldn’t be safe.

Lots and lots of bombs dropped in a day could wipe out all
Palestinians, or several dropped over the course of a week
This has been going on for almost two years.
It’s obvious that the aim isn’t to rid Gaza of ‘ all Palestinians’ but to rid it of hamas members.
And yes, as in all wars mistakes are made, and journalists are putting themselves in harms way by setting up cameras on hospital sites.
