I did mostly enjoy it but found the placards distracting. I also felt the Democrats did harangue rather too much. I couldn't decide whether it was a good tactic to stop him showboating or a poor tactic which didn't allow him enough time to demonstrate that he's just a lot of hot air.

And he should also know that the only person who can stop a protest march is the Home Secretary on application from (in London) Met Chief Sir Mark Rowley, and even then based on intelligence which suggests there would be a real threat of serious disorder and no other way for police to manage the event. The event went off peacefully and did not encroach on the Remembrance Day service.

What I find most bizarre, apart from the comparison between the UK and North Korea, is that at the point he was speaking, Farage hadn’t intervened in the Nottinghamshire County Council ban on the Nottingham Post speaking to him or Reform councillors. Surely getting your own house in order is important.

He seems often to be somewhere else.
What is he doing to earn his not inconsiderable pay as a Member of Parliament?

I have noticed before, but could be wrong, that that sometimes does not harm a chance of getting reelected.
So the constituents must either like it, or still get good service, or both.

But I read that Reform banned certain reporters from their conference. I would call that an attack on free speach. Doesn't that make Farage and his Reform organisation hypocrites? To go all the way to the USof A to attack the UK for alleged suppresion of free speech, when he is doing exactly the same thing here.

The divide and rule approach sure is working isn’t it.

Wrong. I have always been a Conservative and I have always been happy to live and let live. I used to be allowed to do so. However, a nasty party is now forever causing trouble with a capital T! Hopefully this will all soon stop and we can have a happy undivided country once again!
