Just gone onto YouTube - and Netanyahu's soldiers are literally still attacking today. They are shown attacking in the West Bank.
Heading of video "West Bank CRISIS: Israeli Army Detains Dozens, Destroys Homes - What's Next?" (it's on the Liberty 365 news channel).
That will really reassure Palestinians as a whole that Netanyahu's troops will be behaving themselves now (not!). They've just switched focus....
No wonder I do wonder whether everyone on Earth is actually a human being - because some of them aren't showing much evidence of being "human".....just "greedy grabbers" as I call them...

Breaking news, midnight - Peace in the Middle East?
(1001 Posts)US President Donald Trump has announced that "Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan"
"This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line", Trump says on Truth Social
Trump is "considering travelling to the Middle East" in the coming days, according to the White House
Mediators from the US, Egypt and Qatar in Sharm El-Sheikh have been attempting to broker an agreement for a ceasefire in Gaza and a release of Israeli hostages still held by Hamas
The negotiations come two years and two days after Israel launched a military campaign in Gaza in response to the 7 October 2023 attack, in which Hamas-led gunmen killed about 1,200 people and took 251 others as hostages
At least 67,183 have been killed by Israeli military operations in Gaza since then, the Hamas-run health ministry says
Well, we'll have to see - but I so hope that tomorrow will bring clarity that indeed matters will move forward now to peace, and that its not a Trump claim that cannot be backed up

Not true CariadAgain. Bottom line is do the Palestinians wish to come to terms with 1948 or not? Moving forward is preferable to being stuck in 1948. It’s going to be beautiful in Gaza ….
I wonder if you'd move on easily if your home was taken from you, most of your country was taken from you? Israel is not poor, I've never understood why they couldn't offer compensation, make Gaza and the West Bank prosperous and safe. It would have been a great investment, crushing people is just causing problems that are ongoing unless of course you intend to completely eliminate them.
You don’t understand religious extremism if you think that.It wouldn’t matter to hamas and their murderous ilk how safe and prosperous Gaza was, their stated aim is to kill as many Jews as possible and seize all their land.
Why do you think there have been so many Muslim terror attacks here in the UK and so many other countries? They have a pleasant life here but are driven by their ideology.

Before there is any chance of a 2 state solution being accepted by Israel, the Palestinians have got to prove that they can live alongside Israel, their claim to the whole of the state had got to be dropped.
Do the Palestinians want to be on a perpetual state of war when the casualties resulting are 10 and 20 times that of Israel.

Netanyahu troops ? British Army or Starmer’s troops ?
Message deleted by Gransnet. Here's a link to our Talk guidelines.
If the Israeli army are Netanyahu’s troops it follows the British Army are Starmer’s troops
BBC reporting that only at the most half of the agreed aid is being blocked by Israel - this was part of stage 1 agreement.
Aid should never be used as a bargaining tool.
Well I didn’t think dead bodies and hostages should be bartered but they are/were.
You know what I mean - of course if you have another name for that major part of Palestine that isnt under Palestinian control and the troops for that major part.
Wooden spoons should be kept for cooking - and not for stirring trouble with.

Caria you seem to have no understanding of how GN operates. GN doesn't delete posts because someone doesn't like them, they delete them because they break guidelines.

they know how many they have killed with their bombs
If Hamas hadn’t murdered 1,195 men, women, and children on the night of 7/10/2023 they wouldn’t have to know.
If Israel hadn't slaughtered 70,000 Palestinians and completely flattened Gaza then bodies may have been more easily recovered.
Thinks ...I wonder what "guideline" the self-appointed censor or two leapt on - as an excuse to contact Gransnet.....
The zappers are not always visible.
Difficult to figure out the why, as unless another Poster sees, and manages to remember, the post before deletion, there is no way of telling.
BBC Verify satellite images have shown there to be 60 million tons of debris in Gaza.
This debris will contain bodies and unexploded bombs so will be a mammoth task clearing it safely.

It seems, re the ones I've posted, to be because the censor/s don't like me putting inverted commas round a couple of words that are accepted as they are in some places and not in others across the Internet.
I've just checked the guidelines and there is nothing remotely to do with punctuation marks and different people having different names for the same things. All guidelines fully complied with. Yep....a self-censor or two - and I'm blowed if I can see what "hook they hung that one on".
...and I'm still remembering that I don't try and chuck posters off anywhere just because I don't like what they say personally.....because that is not an acceptable way to behave. So go me - and polish my own badge for appropriate behaviour whilst theirs rusts up. Very very naughty of them....and doesn't half make things convoluted sometimes.
I get the point it may not be who I think - the censors might even be "shadows" as you've called them....
CariadAgain
I don't understand what you are saying.
They are Netanyahu's troops - nothing to do with Britain or our troops. If I call them by their appropriate name the self-appointed censor or two on this thread will go "OOOOOH.....inverted commas......I don't like inverted commas round the name they call themselves" and will pull another stunt of having Gransnet delete a post just because they personally don't like it....#sighs.
..does hate self-appointed censors....just because someone has a different viewpoint to them...
You deny there should be a State of Israel, hamas have the same viewpoint.
Israel isn’t called Palestine, and the moderators don’t delete posts merely because someone doesn’t like them or has a different viewpoint. All clear now?
Oreo you have me a real laugh as the child of an Ulster orange woman from a very orange family and a Catholic father from the south I think I know more about religious extremism than you can possibly know. Did you notice how Ireland was in the best economic situation for generations when the Good Friday Agreement was signed?
We all have different views on things so live and let live.
So what do you think of the 60 million tons of rubble in Gaza which is composed of rubble , bombs and bodies?

I don’t comment on NI or the South of Ireland either, and certainly not on this particular thread.

It will need to be cleared. What else is there to say?

Compared with rebuilding Germany or Japan after WW2 it’s a picnic.
First there has to be long lasting peace if not any rebuilding will be wasted, because if there is another Palestinian uprising Israel will flatten it all again.
It’s in the hands of the Palestinians accept peace with Israel

I was born 8 years after the end of WWII and I remember playing on bomb building sites as a child, let's say that's at least 12 years after the war ended. This was in a city in the midlands, a city that was bombed but not flattened like Gaza. These ruins weren't multistorey concrete blocks just little terraced Victorian two up two downs.
What do I think of the ruins in Gaza? I think it will take a long time to clear the rubble.
Do you think it will be difficult to retrieve the bodies if there are bombs in the rubble?
