What I am pretty convinced about is that it was definitely murder, and that Trump is lying about an ICE officer being harmed.

I too don’t believe Trumps version of these events, I find the whole ICE thing quite disturbing and the entire shooting event horrific.

There's also a frame by frame video showing him shooting Ms Good. He was not in front of the car for the second and third shots, he'd walked round and was shooting from the driver's side window. He was not touched or injured by the car.

Also preventing the doctor going to her. Maybe she could have been saved, maybe not but we will never know.

It shows that you really can’t mess with police or immigration officers in the US.
It’s a tragic incident indeed.
People there will have to be careful what they do, tho I don’t understand why anyone would try and interfere with officials cracking down on illegal immigrants in an area.🤷🏼‍♀️

It must be dreadful. I have a friend who lives in Chicago who has said that Jewish friends of hers , who are bona fide citizens of the U.S. are so frightened that they are wary of leaving their appartment block.
These ICE thugs are completely out of hand.

This is absolutely horrendous. And the Mayor has no doubt at all what happened and is calling it out as murder.
If I was related to the woman murdered I would be screaming for justice.

I think that the way police and other authority figures treat US citizens is so bad is because that so many people carry guns there, or at least keep a gun in the car.This makes for nerves all round and rash decisions.

Looking at the video it seems to me that shooting the driver was unnecessary.

They weren’t going after her as an illegal immigrant, she was obstructing them.
That certainly doesn’t mean that she deserved to be shot!

Oreo , I believe what my friend has told me. You might not believe that Jewish citizens are targeted but my friend says that these Jewish neighbours are so worried and frightened that they are reluctant to leave their homes while the ICE gangs are about.
There have been other documented incidents of them just seizing American citizens.

The video clips on the news look unclear exactly how much danger the agent who shot the woman was in, so far it doesn’t look like a justified shooting.

She wasn't obstructing them. There is so much video evidence around. It can be seen that even when she was stationary, when an ICE operative (not the one who shot her) went to the drivers door, traffic could still pass.

Of course, she presumably was a protestor, but even in the US I don't think it's normally acceptable for peaceful protestors to be shot with live bullets at short range.

They bundle people into cars on suspicion and often without any care about paperwork. With passports , with green cards. They have harassed American Indians who traditionally don’t often have actual paperwork. There was an actual US citizen who was deported in error that they eventually had to return. They separate children from parents. It’s an utter disgrace. They are kept in inhumane conditions. Deported often to countries that are not even their own countries. Far away from their families. It’s a disgrace.

I imagine these ICE operatives have been told to show some muscle and so behave like thugs regardless of how this could result in an adrenaline pumped bully pulling the trigger on an innocent citizen. This imho was bound to go badly wrong. And the repercussions will almost certainly be public unrest.
