There’s a sickening photo of her in today’s Times, gushingly cuddled up to Farage. 🤮
How ironic - some HMRC staff essentially committing fraud.

Yet another escapee joins Reform’s home for fed up Tories, time to change the name to Conform??
Why don’t these defections trigger by-elections?

Hmmm, for now, Suella probably has her eye on more than just being Nigel’s cheerleader, she already has partner in crime Jenrick in place, so Nige better watch his back.
I don’t doubt the truth in what you say Meandogrog. The ballot box won’t lie though, and the majority of the electorate never vote for one single party. Therefore your experience cannot be representative of the electorate.

Not quite sure of the process of getting rid of Farage.
Reform doesn’t have one as far as I am aware.
It isn’t a political party in the traditional sense, but a company.
Without doubt Braverman and Jenrick want Farage's job. Both stood for leadership of the Tories.
He's always been a self serving Salesman they are younger ambitions Politicians, your right *Fallingstar... he will need to watch his back.
Dissing what you fear is a human practice…. There’s a real chance that Reform could win the next GE and it’s a mistake to underestimate them.
I wonder if Farage will allow them to take a turn on his TV slots?

Two ways.
However, it’s unlikely that 50% of the membership (the ones who paid £25 to join) could get their act together in 60 days so it would fall to the party MPs.
And that can’t happen unless there are more than 100 of them. Only if almost the entire Tory benches were to defect could they get rid of him. Currently they have 116.

Cossy, is it that the Tories is a sinking ship that motivates Tory MPs to defect to Reform?

I am hoping it is because the Conservative Party is moving away from the so called far right and regrouping to a more traditional right of centre position.
For those MP’s who are unhappy with this, then I suppose Reform is a more natural fit.
I think another party is needed as things are. The Conservatives don’t seem to be much good, the Labour Party isn’t really Labour at all now, just a middle class bunch of lefties, the Greens seem rather weird so - give them a go. Farage is just one person.
The Greens? Weird is right, have you seen some of Polansky’s ideas? No thank you! They would bankrupt the country in six months.
I agree GrannyGravy13, I hope that defections from the Tory party mean that the Tory party can now return to a more traditional position in politics on the centre right. A return to this more moderate and less populist position with politicians more intent upon addressing important issues rather than creating click bait, is much needed right now.
It is always pointed out that rats are the first to leave a sinking ship; it is also stressed that they will drown if they stay. I don't believe the Tories are a sinking ship, and having seen Braverman capering about the stage with Farage yesterday, I am glad she has finally taken the plunge and gone.
Too much fluttering of eyelashes in response to 'will she, won't she', (nearly as bad as Andy Burnham), and she left it a bit late, the planned drama of her exit already upstaged by Jenrick.

We will have to wait and see what happens come the GE. Should be interesting.

The Lib Dems!
If you mean give Reform a go, to see how and what they do, then tune into what Trump is doing in the USA. If you think that is wonderful/desirable, then Farage is most likely your man.
Young Reform politician, Joseph Boem posted 'I stand with ICE.
Is that what we want in the UK?

Oh! SB is an intelligent woman, she must see something in it or why else would she join Reform?
Intelligence doesn’t prevent someone from having dubious morals (putting it politely).

She voted to stop young people benefitting from Erasmus. Having used it herself. That shows what morals she has.
If I were in her constituency party, I’d be urging members to pursue a Recall Petition.
Graphite as someone who has over 500 in their town (both our hotels) I see reform as unfortunately the only option. We've had 2 charged for rape of children, we've had the police at the local primary school as they've been hanging around filming the children in the playground. I saw several last summer hanging around the park just staring at sunbathers, the town is suffering as people aren't going out the same in the evening. One confirmed resident went crazy at the local hospital threatening to kill the staff. Most of this is unreported and swept under the carpet. I don't trust labour or the Tories to sort this.
Reform Ltd., is under the control of their MD, Farage. He can’t be replaced.

And sadly it is unlikely that Farage will sort it out either. Remember the Brexit promises he made, as did Boris, to sort out illegal immigration, when the fact is Brexit made it ten times worse because we broke ties with the EU so had no means of cooperating with them on illegal immigration policies as we had in the past.
Small boats became a huge problem after Brexit not before.
Farage is a reactionary, good at talking the talk but not walking the walk. He can no more solve the illegal immigration problem than the Tories could.
But he will persuade people he can do this whilst increasing fracking in the UK, increasing council tax, and getting rid of workers rights and human rights which affect all of us not just illegal immigrants.
Be careful what you wish for.
I think most of us could post something along the lines of " Most people I know think.."
This is , of course, a reflection of the group with whom we interact.
People who meet at bowls, or bridge, are likely to be retired, working folk being busy, so may, or may not, reflect the views of a certain group of pensioners.
Any conclusions drawn from such a pool is as likely to be as flawed as the conclusion I could postulate, as a churchgoer, from my friendship/ acquaintanceship group, that 50% of British people attend church regularly.. which is, of course, nonsense.
