Who remembers the endless holidays they had prior to their marriages? How did they afford those? An update on the book is due shortly with even more in it. Apparently the author has been threatened.

The answer, quite simply is money. It is not just the aristocracy. It is very wealthy people - and it is mainly the wealthy arristocracy who act like this. Poorer members of the aristocracy, and there are many are many, usually act like the rest of us. Look at all the untitled wealthy people involved in these scandals. They see themselves as being just as entitled as any lord or Laby

I had a friend who was poor aristocracy, never used his title, I knew him as 'Mr Cholmondely-Smith'. A charming kind and thoughtful man.
