Trump would have a job leaving Nato. He wouldn't have the bases in the UK and Europe. Congress would have to agree and I believe the members of NATO may have to agree but I'm not sure about that.
The US needs Europe so it would be stupid of Trump to try to leave.

NATO should have been abolished in 1985 with the break up of the USSR.

Already, troops are having to move out of some of their long established bases in the Middle East, which have been pounded by Iran, to the extent that the defensive shields cannot function.
Different issue to leaving NATO, I know.

I am not Catholic or even Christian but I prefered to listen to the Pope's Easter message calling for an end to the conflict. He had been very outspoken of this war. And he has a lot more followers than Trump.

Size of active armed forces for 2025:

NATO - 2.1 million (without the USA)
Russia - 1.5 million
USA - 1.3 million

The US military is stronger than the rest of NATO combined. Without the USA, Russia will invade the Baltic states within 5 years.

That Russian invasion has already begun.
Plan was to reach Kiev in 3 days.
Four years later, still well behind target.
And now Zelensky is selling 'defence' to the Middle East.
