This, IMO. Is showmanship because there is no way Johnson will let this be voted on in the House. And even if they did somehow impeach him in the House, the Senate will never convict and remove.

The 25th will never happen because it has to be Vance and his Cabinet who does it. Since they are all complicit in his war crimes, I don't see how that will happen. Especially since Vance is over in Hungary supporting another Authoritarian regime.

I will say that there is a lot of angry MAGA on Social Media over this war. Whatever that means.

There has been several suspicious trades from someone who buys before the big announcement on Friday, makes a ton of money, then he changes his mind, gas prices drop a few cents and he tells MAGA "see, I lowered the cost of gas for you". And they lap it up and say "you are right dea leader, it was higher under Biden anyhow".

Something was being done: delicate negotiations were taking place. Trump decided to drive a coach and horses through them because he got wind that the equally despicable Netanyahu was about to strike and he couldn’t bear to be seen as “second”.

I feel extremely worried about what may be going to happen. There has as yet been no TACO. If there is no news that Trump has extended his deadline or removed his threat by bedtime tonight I think I will find it difficult to sleep.

I await with my candle, thinking of those Iranians, innocents, that Trump - and tbh, Netanyahu, for he has not spoken against a scorched earth policy by Trump, in fact is joining in - who'd wipe out. The amazing historical Persian culture is part of what he would destroy, the artefacts, the peoples, whilst MAGA supporters, safe in their homes, far away, remain approving or silent.

The West is far from being the magnificent democratic, caring civilisation that is so much vaunted. It's been a series of Empires historically that have partially caused what we witness over the world. Not sure I'll sleep either as we move towards the brinkmanship.

Just done my nightly sauna in a bag whilst listening to podcasts but now had to re enter Trump world to check if anything had happened. If I’m this scared how must the people in Iran be feeling. Especially as Trump, mad as he is, must realise that he is becoming the boy who cried wolf.
