Yes, I'd second that.
In the meantime, it's important for those clinging onto power not to allow a foothold to anyone tjay may be potentially a threat.
I think it's regional differences...
How has the tragic case of this young man not caused outrage?
Imagine if he had been a person of colour or ethnic minority.
The Police handling of this case raises serious questions.
The killer behaved appallingly, lying to Police and then getting his family to hide weapons and cover for him.
It’s also astonishing to learn Sikhs can carry these knives in public because they are “ religious regalia”
For anyone that isn’t aware of this tragedy here is a link.

The reason that Starmer has to go is that single handedly he’s sabotaging Labour’s chances at the next GE.
There’s time to turn it around, but only just.

Can we stop calling the family Novak please, it’s Nowak, a common Polish name pronounced as Novak.
Could posters please check they are spelling the name correctly, it's the respectful thing to do. Nowak

This is why I support Burnham winning Makerfield- another thread really.
It's a shame that the protesters turned to violence,to stand quietly would have been more powerful, I am firmly of the belief that racism is not one sided, that poor boy was denied any help or belief from the police because of the race card being played,it has to change so it never happens again..
I think the way the police have been demonized over this tragedy,
They were told by Digwan that he had been stabbed, fearing that Nowak had a knife they handcuffed him, very quickly they realized it was him that had been stabbed.
Who would join the police you are damned if you take action and damned if you don't.
tragedy is apalling
Aa i understand it, the murderer said that his turban had been pulled off, and he had a slightly swollen eye.
I don't recall him saying he had been stabbed.

I’m afraid I agree, although it turned out they were very wrong, they acted on info they were given by the brother on the phone, then this info was confirmed by the perp at the scene. It was apparently very dark and they didn’t realise Henry was injured at first.
They should have checked to see why Henry was on the ground.
The only people to blame for this awful event are the person who stabbed him and his awful family!
Its normal to take immediate action in a situation requiring first aid.
Again, instructions are to check the person who is quiet.
They didn't realise, because they paid no attention - too busy listening to the murderer.

There was no need to handcuff him as he was not resisting arrest, was clearly in distress; the supposed victim was not and had family support. Henry told police four times he had been stabbed; they were more concerned with 'cuffing him.
They should have used their time in an examination of his torso and calling an ambulance.
Yes 👍🏻
Channel 5 news released the call that Digwa's brother made to the police. In that call he said his brother had been racially attacked, physically and stressed that a couple of times and that he needed someone there asap please and gave the address. he was specifically asked by the call operator were. there any weapons involved and Digwa's brother said no.
So the police officers were dispatched with a disposition of a racial physical attack on Digwa, brother in same vicinity and that no weapons had been involved.

I am not calling farage progressive maremia, as I have said I don't particularly blame him for the obsession with race and other identity characteristics, I blame the progressives. I don't know what else to call them. They refuse to have any discussion or take any form of accountability, they simply shout far right and hope the issues will go away.
You appear the think that the population is divided neatly into two camps. That is not my experience. Many people aren't tribal and can evaluate a situation from a number of different perspectives. Unfortunately, it is true that some people can't.

That's an assumption.
An assumption based on watching the footage taken at the time.
They asked the murderer to step into the light a bit so they could check his "bruised eye" whilst Henry lay on the floor.
Pretty fair assumption, I'd say
The police officers had been told no weapons were used then they hear the alleged perpetrator of the racial attack say they have been stabbed. It must have caused some disbelief.
I do think they should have asked Mr Nowak where he had been stabbed and by whom before dismissing this as lies.
Those two police officers must be feeling bad as they fell for the lies told by the real culprit and his brother.
They did ask him, eventually, and he told them his face...
I think he was no longer able to sustain himself by then, though.
Perhaps you will believe this, from Mark Nowak:
•His father, Mark, said: "Henry told officers that he could not breathe nine times. He told them that he had been stabbed four times. Henry was pulled across the gravel, his hands forced behind his back and he was placed in handcuffs."
•He said the contrast between how his son and Digwa had been treated was "unbearable".
•"Henry should not have died on the streets of Southampton in police custody," he added.
•In the footage, a police officer arriving at the scene can be heard asking: "What's your name, mate?"
•Nowak, who is lying on his back on the ground, faintly replies: "Henry."
•As the video continues, Digwa steps into the frame. He claims Nowak had taken his turban off and grabbed him by the hair.
•The officer asks Digwa if he is injured, to which Digwa replies: "Yeah, yeah, I've got a swollen eye here, a little bruise here."
•Officers then turn to Nowak, who can be heard repeating "I've been stabbed" and then "I can't breathe" while he is made to sit up to be handcuffed.
It's so very sad. I have grandsons around the age of Henry Nowak and a chance encounter with a violent man intent on harm ..........
To continue:
•Speaking outside court, Henry Nowak's father Mark said his son "did not die with dignity"
•As the footage continues, the officer can be heard asking where Henry has been stabbed. He then adds: "Don't think you have, mate."
•While being handcuffed, Nowak says "I can't breathe" another three times.
•The officer can be heard saying: "He says he's been stabbed, so let's just check him." He appears to briefly lift Nowak's shirt around the belt area before he is left to lie on his side.
•A female officer can then be heard asking: "Where do you think he's been stabbed? In the face?"
•A male voice replies: "He hasn't been stabbed."
•Nowak, who seems unresponsive, is then told he is being arrested for assault.
Beyond tragic to read
So how much worse for Henry’s family to bear?
I am sure you think that's what I believe twaddle, but it isn't.
