Hotel etiquette - has it been forgotten?
How has the tragic case of this young man not caused outrage?
Imagine if he had been a person of colour or ethnic minority.
The Police handling of this case raises serious questions.
The killer behaved appallingly, lying to Police and then getting his family to hide weapons and cover for him.
It’s also astonishing to learn Sikhs can carry these knives in public because they are “ religious regalia”
For anyone that isn’t aware of this tragedy here is a link.

What I really struggle with here is that the murderer and his brother were bouncing about like tigger making accusations whilst the real victim was prostate saying he had been stabbed and couldn’t breathe, surely there had to be an assessment of whether Henry had been stabbed and emergency services called before the attending officers believed the word of the other two and made any charges or handcuffed Henry.
If the immediate response was based upon officers being told to prioritise race crimes no matter what then this needs to be seriously reviewed because saying something possibly racist is one thing but murdering another person is very much another, and the accusation of racism is too easy an excuse. Sadly criminals will use the race card if they know it works, and in this case it seems to have worked to a point and robbed a young man of his life and any semblance of dignity in death. Am btw totally against hate crimes of any kind but this should not blind us to heinous crimes like this.
There is two tier policing in this country. The grooming gangs, the Southport murderer where police were involved prior to that, the murderer of those lovely students and man in Nottingham by that evil man, and now this poor chap Henry. They all have something in common.
If this is the mindset of police attending any scene of crime then some serious sackings and retraining needs to be done immediately. They appeared to have no common sense, or sense of urgency or understanding of needing to know why this young lad was laying on the ground posing no threat to anyone, with breathing difficulties telling them 9 times that he couldn't breathe and he'd been stabbed. Then cruelly handcuffed and told don't think you have been stabbed mate. The murderer was standing upright talking away and asked by the police have you been hurt? Erm wasn't that the very question that poor lad needed to hear in his dying moments. This is just so shocking on so many levels.
I wonder can I ask Meandrogrog, what you think are the main problems this country has, and what you would like Nigel Farage to do, should he come to power?

How was policing at fault in all cases?
We all know that the murderers/perps were from ethnic minority groups (which is presumably what you mean they have in common), but you've forgotten about all the many murders committed by white British people. What do they all have in common?
What all murders have in common, including the man murdered by the "Raise the Colours" murderer is that somebody has died before their time in tragic circumstances and that friends and family will be grieving.
I can't understand (or maybe I can) why you chose just four examples.
There is no way the Police Officers went to that call and wanted to get it wrong. Saving life is always their first priority. If they had more time, I am sure they would have twigged what was going on. But we are talking minutes to assess the situation. I know it will be devastating to them that someone died in their care. I can only imagine what the family are going through. My heart goes out to them. Permission was given to release the body cam footage. It's not surprising some people took to the streets. Blaming other for their behaviour is ridiculous. They are adults. We seem to infantilise everyone these days.
I agree with you, Lyndie.
Your view of police is in this case Lyndie is at best naieve. You can't help save a life with that level of incompetence.

I help train the Police which is extensive.
I rest my case!

Eh?
You haven't even made a case.
Thank you Twaddle.
Then police training needs to be vastly improved if the pair who went to the incident is any indication.

I agree with this.
There was zero unbiased assessment of the actual situation and zero safeguarding of all involved seeing as a young man was left to die of stab wounds on the ground.
Ilovecheese

You really dont know what problems this country has🤣🤣🤣 wow!

Well, I don’t know so could you tell me please.
I’ve seen pictures of Tommy Robinson supporters throwing dustbins at policemen so I think that’s a problem though. Can someone explain what good that is doing?

It isn't, it's just an excuse for thugs to lash out. Unfortunately, protests and demonstrations often get infiltrated by those looking for an excuse to cause trouble.
So do religions.
Still, is anyone going to address Rees Moggs comments on the murder?
Is he some kind of vile racist in a union jack vest?
Another one?

Do you realise that 4 police officers attended? Three cars with blue lights on and that Henry died an hour after being stabbed. Why so long? Because that evil family were removing his phone and as you can hear on the 999 call made by the brother he says they had been restraining him. Maybe he could have been saved if they had called an ambulance earlier. Exactly what they were doing in all that time we don’t know but the murderer was filming him. Sickening.
I find the posts on here making excuses for the sheer incompetence of those officers shocking.
Good question I love cheese. I don't think I could bear the thought of what Farage might do in power.
Exactly Sutfsup. It is so shocking to hear of that level of incompetence. Even worse knowing there were 4 attending.
