Hello Gransnet,

I am a student working toward the completion of a dissertation at the Sorbonne in Paris in the Anglophone Studies area, centred on British women and their perspectives on politics and social issues. When I found this forum, I was delighted!

I hope that I am not breaking any rules by posting this, but I searched and have found nothing on the website that speaks to surveys not being permitted. Crossing my fingers!

I eventually need in the neighbourhood of 100-150 respondents so, I hope some of you would consider filling this out. The survey is available via this link and takes approximately 10 minutes to do. It is found here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/S82S2TW

I think you might find it interesting and, of course, your contributions would be invaluable!

Many thanks for reading!

Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, I'd love to fill it in if you are for real but personally I am taking the precaution of asking our moderators to check it our first. so I shall "report" this O/P, but only with the purpose of them checking it out/advice.

It's quite a detailed survey- with some in depth questions.

I don't mean to be rude but what information can you provide to verify this contributes to your personal dissertation at the Sorbonne?

How will the data collected be used and protected?

Yes, of course! As I mentioned, I looked for anything related to this type of thing but did not find. Thank you!

Yes, you will find the ethics statement and school details in the survey itself. Thank you!

Perhaps you could make direct contact with Gransnet and provide your research credentials so posters can be assured by Gransnet moderators?

So this is also on Facebook although with a slightly different target in terms of number of recipients. Not sure what that proves!

What type of research are you conducting? Perhaps you can post a link of your research proposal- in English of-course

Ethics are important in research studies as I’m sure you understand and research participants should be appropriately informed to engage with informed consent.
