When I was still shopping for my mother in law I went into M&S and asked an assistant if they had any old lady's knickers. She looked very offended and said "Do you mean like the ones I wear?" I don't know what she would have thought of crotchless ones.

Of course crotchless was good enough for Queen Victoria, but she might have drawn the line when it came to thongs.

I own up to liking matching colours where possible.

Apparently M&S have collaborated with Anne Summers and are selling lacy crotchless thongs. Each to their own of course but I was surprised. 😳

Have you tried the other new M&S option, the Skims equivalent, I think it’s called Body. They are great, no seams, including on the legs, and really comfortable - the flesh coloured pants are invisible under trousers?

As has been said many times before ….50 shades of grey…. and that’s just my knickers..

I go commando plus no bra every evening. I have a long washed out pink linen frock bought on a street market in Spain for thirty euros 8 years ago. I’ve always loved the frock but even I think it’s a tad scruffy for out of the house these days. It’s perfect for on the sofa, glass of dry white watching Rivals. I wonder what kind of knickers Jillie Cooper wore? I imagine she was a matching colours lace girl
