That is a conspiracy story. There was an administrative change to Archie's birth certificate after he was born where Meghan's name was removed and instead her full title was inserted as is the convention for Royal Children. This was ordered by the Palace.

It is this sort of perpetual rubbish that makes Meghan so disliked. God knows she can make her own mistakes without outright lies being told about her.

Meghan and Harry deliberately misled the public re the timeline for privacy.

The children have been placed in the public domain by using them in publicity for AsEver products and the Netflix Lifestyle programmes.

These are pictures and videos sent around the world by their parents.
The aim in including the children is to attract publicity for their commercial endeavours.

Obscuring their faces does not change the role they have been given as part of Sussex media and publicity. They are “out there” by their parents’ choice.

As far as I am aware there has been very little publicity apart from what has come from their parents.

According to the Mail Online - obviously a celebrated source of first class journalism and cerebrally demanding reporting - Harry & Meghan met with Christian and Geri Horner (AKA Ginger Spice - Geri Halliwell) at their Costwold home during their secret visit to the UK, as the Horners are "advising" them on their impending move.

I expect Geri's first question to them was "Tell Me What You Want, What You Really Really Want"

Royal children are Nanny raised, hence the good behaviour when on show; they are trained from birth (rightly or wrongly) to be well-behaved.
Notice how the Wales's children have neat and tidy clothes and well combed hair and quiet demeanour (even Louis).

Yes, they are indeed trained and appear for a very short time (a good thing)

If only more children were taught how to behave in public instead of hurling round in restaurants, etc, annoying other people.

I'm sure that even George, who always looks rather serious, is allowed to let his hair down when they're all away from the cameras.

Harry and Meghan could argue that if they’re not working royals it doesn’t apply to them and it’s illegal to take photos of children without permission.

The trouble is it will just encourage more speculation and chit chat. Maybe they’ll post a picture of the children when they start their new school….or maybe they’ll won’t!

I think that's it, though.

The Sussexes are not working royals, not funded by us and if they want to protect their children by not showing their faces that is fine.

The Royal family has always had a tradition of issuing photographs, including of children, and that is their decision to make. William and Kate do so to perhaps stop the paparazzi chasing them as they undoubtedly would.

I think/hope they'll change their minds and go to Portugal instead due to the level of negative press they have received since the announcement.
However, as Harry is a UK citizen and (Meg an American), won't they need to renew their visas every 90 days due to Brexit?

I think "Spouse Visa" applications whilst done initially online, have to be processed when you are in your home country.

If she's coming now it must be on a visitor visa or a work visa (?)... unless she applied quite some time ago.

My daughter has filled in a spouse visa twice for her neighbour. The neighbour has not been in her home country for some years.

The Sussex children may be only children but their parents have marketed them with the Sussex brand and therefore opened the gates to intrusion by the Press.
I endorse a remark by George Clooney who said any famous person who plasters themselves over social media is a fool; you are asking for trouble.

I thought the spouse visa had to be applied for from overseas - but maybe not.
My son and daughter-in-law investigated this a few years ago so I'm writing from memory.

The long term visas that qualify for switching routes:
