What would happen if the unthinkable happened and 😲 Trump became PM? I was chatting to a couple of people recently who worried if they might be deported if so. One German, the other one a Commonwealth citizen with ILR but neither have citizenship.

We do deport thousands of non citizens who do not have a visa to stay and anyone who has a visa and gets involved in any criminal activity is likely to be deported.

Or are we saying we shouldn't depart foreign law breakers.

I did wonder whether to bother answering your post as you have completely misrepresented what I said, as you know. Deliberately or not?

However, to set the record straight, the people I know and was talking about are not criminals.
They are concerned that, if Farage ever became PM, their status might change and they might be deported.

JenniRen, I know of similar people to you who are also worried that someone like Farage will come along and uproot their lives. However, to bring things back into context regarding Harry and Meghan, I am sure Meghan will be safe from deportation.

Not me personally , but a friend and neighbour and a lady who works in a shop I frequent. Also a couple of relatives, both working in the health sector.

Anyway, as long as Meghan will be all right 😀

They may have done that on purpose. More publicity that way?
But who knows.

If neither is going to be a working Royal[and the were not in the US, so dont know how it worked over there], is there going to be some sort of "deal" worked out with the Press[but since some have been sued, how well will that go?], to not photograph, particularly the children?
And I presume there are independent press. Not to mention Joe Public.

And will they have their own, paid for by themselves, security?
How effective will that be?

Like all my family and friends I have no interest in this little family but as with all families I hope they will be happy.

My brother used to work in the USA, they always travelled from Birmingham via Dublin, it was quicker and easier than getting to London.
