You’d think they would have dressed more smartly^ or are the cheerful colours because they’re seeing their son off to boarding school

Since they can’t win with everybody, I guess they wore what they were comfortable in.

I think Catherine is wearing dark green, and anyway, a black suit is pretty standard wear for any event... and they are smiling and look happy.

In the photos it looks black. I rarely take any notice of royal clothes, but seeing them all dressed in black, as the photos suggested, just seemed a bit odd.

I think they are returning as a last resort. All their ventures have failed in the US.
I think it's a very desperate move as Meghan has expressed nothing but dislike for the UK. Having given several interviews about her unhappiness while living here shows hypocrisy and desperation.
She is also aware that she is disliked by a lot of us here. They both are.
Two very foolish, delusional and now desperate people.

That's understandable given the circumstances. Life is too precious and short.

I guess for them, all of them infact, there are so many complexities that there will always be tensions. It's up to Harry not to add to these by broadcasting everything and not to constantly criticise the family.
