Interesting.
And the children starting school here.

And this is what makes Catherine for comparison, so well fit for the role she is given, not that she has a rod of iron in her, she just follows the rules and does what she is required to do without moaning

I think Harry is not very bright and he is being manipulated by an older woman who is slightly more street wise and totally self centred. I actually feel quite sorry for him these days. Being back in the UK is probably better for his mental health than being surrounded by Meghanites.

I think the older women reference is a nonsense. They are both in their 40s and the age difference is only a couple of years, Had they been 18 and 25 that could have been different.

I do not think Meghan is any brighter than her husband, but she has been brought up in the states, in Filmland and has been brought up to hustle, but the failure of her various filmland and online businesses, does rather suggest that she is not that good at it. PH has grown up in a very cossetted style. He was very happy in the army. He should have stayed in there.

How old is she really though? Her sister says she is actually a fair bit older than she claims and puts her around 50 years old. I assume she would know more than we do.

M0nica Sun 13-Sept-26 08:38:40

Meghan is estranged from the rest of her family, bar her mother. I would imagine the Intelligence Agencies did thorough background research on her before the engagement was announced and and that would have included looking at her birth registration, year she graduated from High School etc. Things that would confirm her age.

"PH has grown up in a very cossetted style. He was very happy in the army. He should have stayed in there".

Although I agree the Army perhaps suited Harry, I do think that cossetted and in the Army is a contradict in terms and the two words do not belong in the same sentence. Unfortunately, his presence as the grandson of the Monarch, particularly in a war zone, could put others in danger.

I agree with that M0nica and also if she hadn’t given birth to those children surely someone would have been tempted by large sums of money to reveal the truth.
Although the shape of that bump on the day she had Lilibet was the most peculiar baby bump I have ever seen.

I know people whose wives are older than them and they are perfectly happy; there appears to be no imbalance of power.

Meghan is 45, according to her father and official documents, just three years older than Harry. Probably more accurate than her sister.

We tried that once before and it really didn't work out very well.

We have one of the oldest monarchies in the world. If it were the will of the people to get rid of the monarchy they would have done so by now.

I think it will probably evolve into a different kind of monarchy once William is King, but for the good. It must evolve to hold it's place.

Ironically, it could have already started a different and more diverse kind of evolution if Prince Harry and his wife had remained in the UK as working royals.

We make habit of it in our family My mother was 3 years older than my father, her sister was 11 years older than her husband, My sister is several years older than her husband. DS's wife is nearly 2 years older than him. Me? well I am a mere 1 month 2 days older than DH. I generally refer to him as my toy boy grin

No, it isn't really (a contradiction in terms.) I grew up in an army family and while fighting and everything associated with it can be hard and brutal. You are part of a tight community with all your accommodation, meals, laundry et al done for you. Young single officers do much better than their contemporaries outside. Living in mess, nice room, good meals, Good company, just like being back at boarding school (without the restrictions) or at home in a Royal palace and able to play serious boys games outside. Soldiers are not at was and fighting all the time.

That is a horrible thing to say about a pregnant woman

Aveline Sun 13-Sept-26 12:35:56

There is much speculation about whether she actually gave birth to those children.

MartavTaurus Sun 13-Sept-26 12:56:52

And that just about sums up the irony of this sorry situation. It was Meghan herself who put the pictures out there, four years after the birth of Lilibet. We can only assume she wanted to share this private behind the scenes moment to keep herself relevant or whatever. No paparazzi were invited to the event to witness the twerking, but of course every tabloid in the land ran with it. It's Meghan and Harry who are themselves feeding the stories, and if they can't find other roles to keep them busy, then maybe we will come to see more of this stuff. Who knows?

Calendargirl Sun 13-Sept-26 13:14:27

Can you imagine Catherine putting a ‘twerking’ video of herself just before giving birth, with William capering about alongside?

No, thought not.

Perhaps that’s why it’s such a good reason they are next in line to the throne, and not the publicity hungry Sussexes, who don’t mind making themselves look like idiots, and sadly, cannot see why.

MarieElla Sun 13-Sept-26 13:19:48

That video really sealed their status as Royal Clowns!

Absolutely unfounded speculation like a lot of what is written.

hollysteers Sun 13-Sept-26 17:24:13

I don't believe the rumours of surrogacy.
Just after Archie’s birth, Meghan looked bloated as we do after childbirth.
Catherine also looked the same.

I can’t believe the ugly vitriolic comments on this thread.
I bet some here were the bullies at school !

Is there no depth some people will sink to continue the character assassination of Megan
