They demonised themselves by that book and that interview. Naming their daughter with the Queen's personal and private name was beyond the pale. The sheer crassness.

It's the money issue. The children need schooling (of a kind that will protect them from all those bad people that their mother seems to think are out to get them as a family) and how can the parents who are supposed to provide do that when they have a large court bill, a mansion in Montecito and a house in Portugal to maintain - which I believe they intend to do. This is all so calculated - part of a Netflix movie.

I do hope they can have a relatively quiet life in some big country house behind a large gate, but I don't think your press will let them.

I have always been at a complete loss to understand why normally kind and decent people find it necessary to vilify this young family whom they have never met.

What need does it fulfill?

Let us wish them well and hope that their family disagreements will sort themselves out over time and that their children can enjoy living here in the UK and settle in their schools happily. It is what we would wish for any child.

We all know and understand that family rifts are distressing and that we can never truly get inside the complexities as outsiders. We need to be understanding. Jumping on the vitriol bandwagon has no purpose and achieves nothing positive.

I am a fan of family, and they have an English family who do not know their children.

We are told time and time again that the family unit is important for children, especially grandparents, whether they happen to be the King and Queen of the U.K. is irrelevant they are still granny and grandpa.

There is no doubt the publicity around having her maybe staring in a UK soap would be valuable to any film production. Seeing her on the screen every day would be a delight for the republicans and a constant irritation for the Royals.

If the return to acting is true any ideas of a private life can be dismissed and security will be a major issue.

I can only think this is going to be bad pr for the royal family. I hope Megan and Harry don’t finish what Diana started— the end of the royal family.

I don't agree Olivebranch. They've spent the last 6 years trying to destroy the reputation of the royal family and the only real damage they've caused is to themselves.

Just like anyone else David, if she were to be given a role in a UK soap, they don't have to watch it do they; I certainly wont be. Would a popular and loved soap opera want to risk giving a role to someone who so many dislike? I doubt it.
