Trump is now desperate to get a positive outcome for anything before the mid term elections. Iran has proved very intransigeant and unlikely to change quickly. He turned his attention to Russia to try to get some progress on Ukraine, his usual tactic is carrot and stick but Russia has absorbed all sanctions and damage and is on a war footing supported by N Korea, Iran, China and others.
Just what Carrots are on offer and how much Stick is threatened is hard to tell but Putin is a hard negotiator

Trump is probably the most powerful man in the world. Unfortunately he doesn't have the mental capacity to use that power wisely. He thinks he is the centre of the world and everything must be dealt with using brute force and ignorance. His priorities are all wrong, his own vanity projects come first. I would love to be a fly on the wall in a couple of hundred years time to hear how he is viewed as a historical figure.

I'm with Wyllow3, that is the cause of it all, too much interference from the West for there own ends.

We need to forget about the US being an ally while Trump is president. He doesn't seem to want allies apart from Israel which I still find very strange. (Epstein files?)
He has insulted and threatened us over his time as Potus so I hope we do stand up to him more now.

I have a number so questions right now, the first of which is how on the heck did he get across the country without being spotted. This drive would have taken at least 3 days, including the need to stay on a hotel.

Ossoff is amazing. Talarico in Texas is going to flip that long held seat as well IMO. IF we have elections.

I have always believed that the gerrymandering antics could backfire on them in a big way in states like Florida and Texas. Both Ossoff and Talarico are ahead in the polls.
