The song about the kings new clothes comes to mind. If they stopped saying how good the new clothes were and saw the nude reality, then something might just possibly improve a little

Just a gentle heads-up on that phrase—'lunatic asylum' carries a lot of old stigma and a pretty dark history regarding mental health, so it's generally avoided now.
I get the gist, and its delightful to think up alternatives 🙂

I am almost certain Texas will flip blue. Oddly, I am also watching Ohio to flip blue.

And well, he is not very popular with the farmers and ranchers right now. That makes up the bast majority of the red states.

Good news, a Federal judge just played them hard, and now they have a temp restraining order that says they can do nothing about mail in voting for 2 weeks. She can extend it for another 2. He can't appeal a TRO.

3 months to the vote, which is a long time in politics, but it does look that the democrats will take the house but at present unlikely to take the senate.

Voting, they can block Trumps legislation and investigate federal interference

Challenge Trump’s executive orders.

Trump’s legislation - refuse to pass it.

Impeachment - not likely to be successful without a big majority and control of both houses.

From our point of view, the biggest gain is that the democrats can considerably weaken Trump’s foreign policy, but not sufficiently to stop him from say taking over Greenland or Canada, but they can refuse to fund this activity, And in any case he has to overcome his army, the courts, the EU and NATO as well as Congress. So hopefully it is so much more difficult thst he would have the world believe.

How that will go down with Trump? I do wonder if what Netanyahu knows about him that Trump won't want disclosed.
