Does Farage ever stop (breaking rules)

So up popped my news this morning, yesterday Farage was sworn in (again), then, on the very first day of Parliament this session, went up onto the roof and filmed a social media. Completely against the rules, for extremely obvious reasons.

What is wrong with this man? Surely he, out of everyone, understands the meaning of national security?

Farage response reported 15.42 today:

Nigel Farage has hit back at criticism over the treatment of protesters at the Reform UK conference, calling it utter nonsense and accusing his critics of taking a one-sided view.

West Midlands police has asked a female protester to come forward after footage appeared to show her being manhandled and having her hair pulled by a Reform audience member as she was removed from the conference yesterday.

Speaking to broadcasters, Farage said: “It’s all one way, isn’t it? I can have milkshakes chucked in my face, be bashed over the head with placards and that’s all fine. That’s absolutely fine. (well actually it wasn’t fine the woman was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced).

Yet, well, we have a big event that people have paid a lot of money to come to and we get people there trying to disrupt it and we remove them. Suddenly we’re in the wrong. Utter nonsense

He added: “This is just also one sided. It is ridiculous. There were people there trying to disrupt our conference. We always have them. We always have them and we remove them quickly and expeditiously.”

There were people there trying to disrupt our conference.

Well haven't there also historically been other parties whose conferences and events have been disrupted?

Farage talks as if this kind of thing only ever happens to him - didn't Starmer's sister-in-law have a fire started outside the property she was renting from him not too long ago? And haven't both Labour and Tory party conferences also been disrupted in the past?

I wish he'd stop indulging his victimhood, he appears to be trying to create this narrative of him versus the 'establishment'. Come off it Farage, you are part of the status-quo that supports the ever-widening wealth-gap - that's the establishment and you're part of its fabric...

The female protester with blonde hair has explained that she joined Reform two years ago so that she can get into events to protest. She told LBC that she protests at other conferences and events (as is her right). She explained that despite Reform being aware of who she is and that she protested at last year’s conference she was still able to get a ticket to this year’s event. Between times they have asked her to stand for them as a councillor! She regards it as an example of their disorganisation and very lax vetting.

Has anyone seen the interviews between Farage and Kuenssberg and Peston? He’s lying though his teeth to LK about the lunch with the undercover father and son, claims he wasn’t listening when the tape shows he was an active participant in the conversation, but with RP the subject is different.

I think he may be gearing up to walk away or at least setting the ground in case he has to. He talks about how he has been in politics for 34 years and his family has away supported him until this year … and now they are not. He claims there has been another round of debanking of people close to him.

He claims to have had some very thoughtful moments about his future - he’s not going to quit yet but … Of course, it could all be part of his narcissistic games to make people feel sorry for him, beg him to stay but he can’t not be concerned about what’s about to happen as the investigations pile up.

I suppose this latest scandal depends on the deal with Orr and Jukes. Have they really been fired or just told to lay low for a while and he will see them right? Orr could lose his job with Cambridge University. Jukes, who has been a loyal servant for almost ten years and a leading light in Young Independence (the youth wing of UKiP) before becoming Farage’s personal aide in early 2017, is going to be feeling very hacked off if he was just doing his master's bidding.

I agree Dickens.

DARVO is a psychological manipulation stagey where a person denies wrongdoing, attacks the person/s holding them accountable and reverses the role of victim and offender. Trump is the world's prime example. Farage has learned this strategy from Trump and employees the same tactics now on a regular basis.

Deny the offender denies that the bad behaviour oe event ever happened.

Attack the offender attacks the person confronting them, often questioning their motives, credibility, or sanity.

Reverese Victim and Offender The Offender claims they are the real victim, turning the actual victim into the alleged aggressor.

Lies again, reported on Sky.

Do you think Farage was actually arrested for offences against male sartorial elegance laws, due to his bizarre conference suit choices? Royal blue yesterday, mint green today. Perhaps he has delusions that he is the natural successor to the late Queen in the stand out from the crowd colour palette contest.

Farage may wish to 'walk away', but if found to be guilty of any of the multiplying accusations, he may not have that option.
