Abject apologies ladies I was mistaken by Milliband’s parentage it seems. An acquaintance told me that and I’ve repeated it without checking as I thought the man who had told me that seemed certain of his facts .

Obviously not so.

I’m truly sorry to cause such offence and I apologise unreservedly. Can you ever forgive me?

It was a simple mistake, was an incorrect fact and only offended a few.No need for any down on the knees apologies.

But posters are horrified and questioning my mental well being.

To be honest I’m absolutely fine.
Somewhat sad of course but not unhinged.

Exactly GG13. This situation is simply dreadful. There are no easy solutions. As ever, I find myself capable of seeing the needs of Palestinians and Israelis. A diplomatic two state solution must be best or least worse solution

Making a factual error on a public forum must happen quite often. Surely it can be corrected without questioning the poster's mental wellbeing?

As a L Party member I went to Ed Millibands hour webinar last night responding to questions.

He spent at least half the time talking about the Jewish Communities in the UK and the need to protect them and of course told us about his mum and dad and family.

He's a good man, a rare conviction politician who wants to make a difference.

I felt proud to be there.

Anc of course Labour are desparate to reel in the Moslem vote and draw back voters who have defected to the Polanski-revised Greens over Gaza. Labour don't care about the Jewish vote as it's much smaller thsn the Moslem vote.

Just not true. I'd in the L party and have been a member since 194 through thick and thin. We had a really bad problem as regards some attitudes to some Jewish people and I witnessed the necessary action taken against those members.

Ed Milliband cares about his People, his heritage.

Those who know me well on Gaza threads going back 3 years will know that my father was one of those who helped Jewish refugees settle after WW2 and we joined those families socially

and I hold no issues except for those who are leading the current regime and those who would starve ordinary people in Gaza and Palestinians being terrified and attack Palestinians on the West Bank.
