Andy Burnham illustrates how much he cares about Homelessness

👏👏👏

Impressive!

Here's more about the charity Changing Lives.

I watched the race today and saw him cross the line.

I hope others chip in too. He's raised over £20,000 so far.

Not sure if this is allowed, but it’s on X

Graphite Sorry crossed posts, but thanks for link. I will be making a small donation.

Well, he’s enjoyed his Sunday doing what he wants to. His govt should be doing more for the homeless, especially homeless veterans.

Yep well done Andy.

My opinion is as valid as anybody else’s.

Whenever I have ever praised anybody for fundraising, whether they are politicians or TV presenters I get all the negativity going on here so I am taking a leaf out of their book today. 😉

Well done to Andy! 👍
Personally doing something about the homeless.

Excellent. The total is now over £22,000 and the Gift Aid adds another £5,000.

Well done Andy

If you happen to have a magic wand could you loan it to him and then all he has to do like Gwendolyn in Cinderella is wav it and all will be done.
Simples.

Let’s give the lad a chance 😜😜

So proud of Andy Burnham at least he’s showing he cares. He was respectful about everyone’s charity that they were supporting I love the fact I’m a Geordie and the positive came out about this region today. Well done to all that took part and participated in today’s race. And a big thank you to everyone who donates.

The charity that Burnham ran for today do a great deal to help veterans.

I assume he signed up for the half marathon while still Mayor of Greater Manchester. It's good you don't have to name your charity until the day itself, so AB was able to choose a cause he had recently made a promise about.
Good on him!

Don't you give it a rest, Primrose as Iam64 tells you to do.
AB is a runner anyway so it's very likely something he would have done, especially with North in the title.
I will pat him on the back when there are no homeless on our streets.

I know first hand he cares about homeless people.

That will be people including veterans and those seeking asylum and those who have fallen on hard times.

Oh for goodness’ sake.

Give the man a bloody chance.

Totally agree with you Primrose.

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret

What on earth do you mean by that? Like Starmer, I can see AB is going to get as much griping about nothing.

Give him a blooming break!
