I am not sad and expect the people around Fairford are relieved.

It is only the heavy bombers. They were not here before the Iranian war. Everything else remains. The USA would not give up such a foothold easily.

I’m glad to see the back of them, it means that they can’t kill children having taken off from the U.K.

I'm pleased. They should never have been here in the first place.

Good riddance, their presence here made us a target I want no more American influence here, we are already swamped with their language and corporations.
What else? Oh yes, their barbaric law system which allows guns for all and the botched killing of a woman after 30 years imprisonment.

As Whitewavemark2 says, the US connection to Fairford is still there, and the bombers will be back whenever they need to be.

The current POTUS will not be in power forever, we need to keep all doors open for when sanity is restored in the White House.

It was the right thing to do as the US and UK know there is an ongoing threat to Fairford if the bombers had remained there.

Glad the US bombers have gone, as has been said the US isn’t pulling out of Fairford at all, but the risk of a threat to the people living there has now decreased.
