Richard O'Sullivan has died

I had a huge crush on him when he appeared in Doctor At Large in the 70's.
Sad to hear that he has died.

wasn't he in a nursing home last few years? i thought he was gorgeous when he was in Man About The House which was and still is one of my favorite comedies.

He has been in a care home for 23 years following a dreadful Stroke. RIP Richard. You gave us lots of laughs.

Very sad. He was a very good and entertaining actor (plus handsome too!)

I think it was the same care home as Mike Yarwood was in.

He was a lovely man, talented and funny in a good clean way, not like so many since.

Here he is with Mike Yarwood at the Care Home. It's sad that he ended up in care for so many years instead of living a free life with a partner, but at least he was cared for after his stroke.

He lived in our village with Tessa Wyatt. He kept a very low profile.

I recall him in Man About the House and Robin’s Nest. Always liked him but didn’t see much of him after these two sitcoms.
Thoughts are with his loved ones and friends 💐
