We're talking a game of scrabble not an English lesson!

this thus

I thought there was a rule that only one syllable words can be 'er'd eg fit, fitter, quick, quicker, sad sadder, unless they ended in a 'y' this easy, easier, happy, happier, hungry, hungrier.

Otherwise it's a more, such as frightened, more frightened, agile, more agile.

Or did I just make that up? wink

I would use 'more agile' . Can only compare it to 'mobile'- I would use 'more mobile'
The comparatives don't seem right
agile, agiler. agilest?
mobile, mobiler, mobilest?

That would be two words!!

Not sure of it's validity but I would't use it.
More agile sounds better IMHO

Ive had the same problems not having words accepted, its because the majority of scrabble games follow an American dictionary not the English!

I am playing online scrabble with my DD and wanted to send the word agiler - as in more agile. The programme will not let me send it (which is a pity as it carries loads-a-points!) as it says it is an invalid word. Wiktionary says it is valid.

Over to you!
