Registry Office ! No no no no no ...

I've always said registry office and I'm certain the signs outside our local ones say registry office.

Mine is listed as Register Office but I always say Registry Office . You may be alone in being rattled by it OP but you are right I believe

I always say Registry Office - and that is the way ours is listed.

Just checked online for ours and it's listed as Registry Office. Just as well.... that's what I call it anyway.

I checked the gov.uk website last night , well it came up when I googled registry office so I thought that HAS to be correct and it says registration office for some and register office for others with registry office in brackets on all . So nobody is right and nobody is wrong in my opinion anyway as even the government don't know. Lol
