Wild birds don't pose....

....for humans who are taking photographs of them.

I've started yelling "It's NOT POSING!" at Twitter posts saying the bird they've photographed and posted online is doing so.

And breathe.

No but they should. The amount I spend on bird food, equipment like bird baths, hanging feeders, nice bushy plants, plants with berries etc etc. And what happens the minute I get the camera out? They fly away...
Damned ungrateful me thinks.

Birds are the ultimate posers! They go all out to impress each other compared to other types of animals. They most certainly do pose/flaunt/flirt & generally show off and display themselves

My D's parrot poses then makes rude noises. ( raspberries )

They do tweet a lot though, particularly about annoying humans who try to photograph them when they are just going about their daily business and haven't fluffed their feathers that morning.

Apparently they have complained that it's like being members of the RF.
