It's an interesting linguistic development, I must say. So a painter might be artisting, a musician might be guitaristing or pianisting, and a terrorist could be terroristing. Lovely.

A nonce-word but not a new word. From the OED.

1883 A. Stewart Nether Lochaber xxxviii. 233 Never before were all the conveniences for touristing so perfect.

1953 E. M. Forster Hill of Devi 27 I continued my tour—I was touristing—and I did not expect to see my delightful host again.

1971 K. Wheeler Epitaph for Mr. Wynn xxviii. 364 He wasn't just touristing around.

Not all words make a lasting impact on the language, could we just forget "touristing" again for he next 20 odd years?
