This has definately been a challenging year but please bare with me. Its been a while since I’ve been out and about as I’ve been sheilding and it’s hard looking out my window and seeing folk flounting the rules ect ect. We need to be careful some say. Here, here! If we all pull together and toe the line we will see progress.

He's very clever but is dyslexic. It makes life difficult.

Yes, he beat me to it, it was my ambition to do that when I retired.

I agree autocorrect is responsible for many errors, which is why I don't understand why people don't switch it off. They spend half their life apologising for their autocorrect mistakes! I don't use it, instead I own my mistakes. ?

I suppose the point, on here, at least, is to note that we don't actually have to apologise to people we don't know, about mistakes we make or ones that our phones do - my story and I'm sticking to it

A recent irritaton is the use of 'curb' when referring to the edge of a pavement, instead of kerb. I do wonder if that is the form used in America .................. yes, it is, according to:-

Love the spelling police photo! I've just remembered another one - stationary and stationery. I always used to say to my students remember 'e' for envelope - they weren't at all 'greatful'!

All of these things came naturally to me when I was younger, but now, I realise people must have been gritting their teeth at my mistakes (if I made any)
