Just heard Sky news referring to someone who took part as a contra buter. What?
What happened to the word con trib ute?
How do you say it?

Emphasise on Ree - noun. Emphasis on search - verb.

I've just seen someone write about how passengers on an Easyjet flight were given a £500 insensitive to get off the plane because it was too heavy. Maybe it was 'insensitive' to talk about their weight? grin

I blame the rise of texting and the common use of emoticons and memes for the decline in the English language.

Love it Blondiescot grin

All these words with more than one syllable are a minefield to pronounce, the trouble is now I start thinking about it before saying the word and stumble over it.
