I've just seen someone write about how passengers on an Easyjet flight were given a £500 insensitive to get off the plane because it was too heavy. Maybe it was 'insensitive' to talk about their weight?

I blame the rise of texting and the common use of emoticons and memes for the decline in the English language.

I think the second is correct.

All these words with more than one syllable are a minefield to pronounce, the trouble is now I start thinking about it before saying the word and stumble over it.
