I’d be very wary,personally. Could mean it was a mess and needed a lot of tidying. I don’t believe it was a positive comment!

Maybe she means she re arranged the cushions in a more artistic way ?
Or more to her liking.
I found myself doing that in a charity shop that sold furniture.
I was trying to get them more sales by making it look more attractive.
They actually had some good pieces at good prices. BHF.

I have had a request from a guest to stay at my holiday cottage. On looking at her previous reviews, one says that she left their accommodation in "a fashionable state". I have the feeling that this is a euphemism, but Google isn't helping. Are any of you pedants familiar with the phrase, and should I be worried?!
