Oh Goose, my heart goes out to you. There's just nothing that can be said to make you feel better, other than she knew she was loved. You did absolutely everything that you could to make her life happy and comfortable. She wouldn't know that it was time to say goodbye, any more than you did. Maybe that's almost a comfort to you, knowing that she didn't know.

Goose, so sorry to read this. I can understand exactly how you`re feeling, after losing several pets over the years. You feel as if you should have done something, even when you know that there`s nothing you could have done. Why didn`t the vet let you stay with her?

Goose It's always heartbreaking and especially so when the event is unexpected. I know just how you feel. Condolences and hugs.

Oh Goose my heart goes out to you. What an awful experience, Did your vet not allow you to be with her. Its difficult to know how to comfort you in your sadness except to say I am sharing your grief today and sending you [hugs] and . I went through this only a couple of months ago with my beloved cat of 14. So I can tell you I DO know what you are going through. Keep posting and talking to us, it helps so much.
