I'm so sorry ethelbags1 It's such a worry when the blood tests don't find anything but I hope she feels better after rehydration. So many of the illnesses of old age are very treatable, I do hope this turns out to be one of them.

Poor puss! How old is she? Ours had similar symptoms in old age and she took to sleeping a lot and then died peacefully in a sunny spot. It seemed the kindest thing for her, rather than lots of painful and worrying interventions. Hope you get a diagnosis soon

You mentioned a week or so that your cat wasn't well. It does sound like a heart problem. Poor you and poor puss. It is heartbreaking when our pets are ill. I hope your vet can come up with a diagnosis soon.
