My cat loves the oat milk I have for my cereal.

I've always raised every litter of puppies on Weetabix on milk before they were fully weaned with no ill effects. I don't offer it to weaned dogs though and I cant say for cats.

I have Arla lactose free milk in tea, coffee and cereal and our cat loves it.

I'm sure I read somewhere that cats (or possibly hedgehogs) are lactose intolerant.

'A saucer of milk for the cat' - who hasn't heard that saying?
However, I don't think milk is good for them, although I think that dogs can tolerate it better.
No milk for hedgehogseither if you are feeding/rescuing any (dog meat for hedgehogs).
DD bought kitten milk for the new kitty, he loved it at first but turned his nose up after about 10 weeks old.

Probably - I've tried mine on the special cat milk but they weren't too impressed. My husband keeps giving one of them a drop of semi skimmed from his breakfast - naughty daddy grin

Our cat, and dog, both enjoy a little milk every day. I had heard that it's better not to let them have milk because many of them are allergic to lactose, gives them diarrohea etc, but ours seem ok.
Today I bought, by mistake , some lactose-free milk. Our pets love it, come back for more. Do you think they realise it's better for them?
