I have got a g tech hand held vac. It is OK...not brilliant but it is cordless and is good for the car and stairs etc.

I have already asked on the House and Home forum, but putting it out here as well. My current vacuum cleaner is struggling with my two long-haired cats' fluff and fur, and I am looking for a good powerful cordless one. Fed up with coping with long flexes too. Something lightish would be good, and easy to manoeuvre on the stairs. Be grateful for any suggestions please.
