Yes, thank god for my cat at the mo. No trouble and warms my seat for me.
I read that the blinking is a sign of submission to the master.

Love that cartoon Jane grin. Hope I'm not quite there yet.

Yes the loving blinking.......squidging we call it, we do it back. Me wearing glasses doesn't seem a problem. And when they run over to you and put their tail up to say hello, just before they get to you.

With our foster cats, some are quite feral little kittens. We feel a sense of accomplishment when one finally squidges back at us. Or purrs, or responds to play.

Don't forget the loving blinking.

My cat loves to head bump, he also gently nibbles my chin, and gently puts his paw on my cheek, both a true sign of affection.

Oh, I hit the wrong }! grin

Oh dear. Is this us?

Seacliff I agree with everything you've said. I know I could not have got through living in solitary confinement since March without my lovely cat. She has been vital for my mental health. We love each other.

Sparkle .... that video had me in tears!! All pets are so important to our happiness and mental health, especially now.

Some people think cats are insular and not friendly and affectionate. The truth is cats are not usually friends with just anyone. They choose their special person. One of my cats loves me particularly. He seeks me out. We communicate so well by looks, and he stretches out his paw to touch me gently, saying he wants more fuss, and is obviously enjoying it just as much as me.

My cat talks to me but the expression on that dogs face is wonderful.

I couldn't be without a cat. Mine is so friendly. I have wonderful purring greetings from him if I've been out or even fallen asleep.

Mine is the same. She "talks" to me.

Both lovely videos, but especially the cat and dog one - delightful. ?

That’s just lovely

Callistemon Fri 27-Nov-20 20:32:41

A cat wouldn't do that.
A dog is a friend smile
