I've just read on our local FB site that a 4 month old fully vaccinated puppy caught Parvo. It recovered due to early vet treatment at an animal hospital.
There have been quite a few cases in the large city I moved from too.
I rang my vet to check if there was a new vaccine out for Parvo but was told it was like our flu vaccine and doesn't protect every dog against every strain.
The symptoms start 3-10 days after they catch it and are vomiting and diarrhea that continues after a day or 2 with bloody diarrhea following in some cases.
Quite worrying that it evades the vaccine.
