Firework Noise

My poor cat gets so stressed by fireworks but I’ve just tried the ā€œspot onā€ Beaphar treatment on him a few hours ago and it really has calmed him. He’s lying next to me on the sofa with what sounds like a war zone crashing around us, but he’s not batting an eyelid. Think I’ll be trying it myself 😻

Juicywords Thank you so much for mentioning Beaphar which I'd never heard of. I found it on Amazon, ordered it on Saturday night, delivered yesterday afternoon by Amazon Prime, applied it straight away to my dear little cat, and she was chilled out all evening. It was a good test because a neighbour had a long-lasting firework display with hours of whoops and bangs, and she would have been very upset.

I've tried Feliway in the past but it did nothing.

So sorry to hear about your friend's dog Primrose and the deer 25Avalon.

Why can't they make silent fireworks?

A friend told me the other day that silent, or was it quiet, fireworks are now being sold.
Has anyone else heard that?

We were at a low-noise firework display at the weekend. They do make some noise but I suspect that if you were indoors you’d have heard very little and if you’d had a tv or radio on, you wouldn’t have heard them at all.

We’ve always had Labradors and they’ve never been bothered by fireworks . I walked ours round the block last night and he was fine.
So sad to hear about your friends dog primrose
