What dog pet insurance can you recommend?

Another vote for Animal Friends. Although insurance does increase with age.

We've just swapped from Pet Plan to Direct Line for the same reason. Direct Line does not come up on comparison sites so you have to look separately. It was a like for like policy but whether I would recommend them I cannot say.

Have you tried Animal Friends? I have two cats (3 year old moggies) with them and they seem pretty good, though I do have Tesco Pet Insurance for an elderly (11) Siamese and they were very good, paid out quickly on a claim with little fuss....but more expensive - mainly because of her breed and some previous health problems.

My dog is just 3 years old. She has been insured with the Coop Insurance for just under £30 a month for quality cover. They now want to increase it to £40 a month. I have been online for quotes and I see I can get better insurance for less but some are companies I’ve not heard of. Can gransnetters recommend anyone please.
